There are four basic requirements to be eligible to become a foster parent in North Carolina:
You must be at least 21 years of age.
You must have sufficient space in your home for a child/children.
You must successfully complete a criminal background check and medical evaluation.
You must be able to demonstrate financial stability, as evidenced by the ability to cover your personal monthly expenses.
From your initial application to your training classes and certification, Embrace Treatment Foster Care’s team is with you every step of the way. We understand what’s required by the state and work with you to complete paperwork and home visits.
