Kinship care support services
We understand that once you place a child in kinship care, the family will likely need extra support, supervision, and education. Embrace TFC is here to provide the support services that kinship caregivers need to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care.
Parental Training & Education
We offer parent coaching and parenting classes that focus on maintaining family relationships and raising a child in today’s world. We also provide coaching on how to parent children with trauma histories and who exhibit emotional and behavioral challenges.
Treatment Planning
We offer monitoring of the family’s care plan and family check-ups to improve parenting skills and family management practices. We can also link the family to necessary community resources, such as medical, dental and mental health providers.
24-Hour Crisis Support
Our support and supervision of kinship care cases includes 24-hour crisis support. Families can call on us to help deescalate children who are exhibiting difficult behaviors. Depending on the severity of the situation, staff may intervene in the home.
